Our team is diversified in our knowledge of real estate. We work with Buyers and Sellers, but also continually educate ourselves through continuing education courses to best help our clients no matter what the market conditions. We keep on top of the trends in the St. Louis area by consistently researching what homes are active, under contract and those that have sold. Kay Bova - Team Leader

As the overall team leader with 30+ years of experience, I spearhead the management, marketing efforts, financial operations and general direction of the Team. My major emphasis is listing property, working with sellers and referral clients, negotiating contracts and assisting the Buyer’s Specialist with Buyers. It is my responsibility to make sure the synergy of the team remains cohesive, efficient, exciting and fun!

As Buyer’s Specialist, my role is to know the market inside and out. Listening carefully to a Buyer’s needs and finding the perfect home for them is my primary goal. With the inventory quickly changing, our buyers appreciate working with a Buyer’s Specialist who makes it a priority to see what is available so no time is wasted touring unsuitable properties. I have extensive knowledge of the properties in the area, and use that knowledge to find you the perfect home.

Jessica Phipps – Office Manager

It is my job to handle the administrative responsibilities to market our listings until they go under contract. I coordinate our specific action plan with Kay, monitor advertising and showing activity and work directly with the selling agents to insure they have all the information they need. My goal is to insure that each client has a “seamless transaction” . . . that is, one that closes without a hitch. To accomplish this, we have implemented systems, checklists and a proactive action plan to troubleshoot any problem areas before they surface.

My job is to make sure our team is up to date on all business aspects and compliant with the MREC rules & regulations. I review all documents related to the buying & selling transactions and ensure all paper work is completed correctly, sent to the appropriate title company all within a timely manner.

With help from the Kay Bova Selling Team, you can easily navigate thru these five steps toward purchasing the home of your dreams!
Pre-Approval – Meet with your preferred Lender and obtain a Pre-Approval letter. We need this to submit with the Contract on the property you have chosen.

Finding a Home – We meet with you and go over your list of wants and needs as well as find the right price range that fits your budget.
Submitting All Documents – Along with the contract, an Earnest Money check and a copy of the Pre-Approval letter is submitted to the Seller. When accepted, you will need to hire a building inspector of your choice, decide what other inspections you need and have a survey completed. You will also need to contact your insurance agent to have home owner’s insurance upon closing.
Lender will do their Magic – Keep in contact with your Lender to make sure you are on top of any additional documentation or clarification they may need.
Closing Day – a final walk through should be completed within 24 hours of closing. Have a cashier’s check made out to the title company at closing (the required amount will be given to you by the Title Company a day or two before the closing).
